上上禮拜，Sharon請來系上學長David來講他的研究，
他講了logical scales in phonology,
最後提到tone chains的演變，
說道：
其實閩南語/台語的tone sandhi shift是tone chains研究的一大問題，
因為它不是一個chain, 而是有一個cycle,

在●處於是便有了merge, 而不是一個接著一個變化的chain,
這個merge會造成neutralizaion,
研究上還眾說紛紜，沒有人能解釋。

突然覺得，哇哈哈，我們的台語好棒呀。
人家還沒辦法解釋呢。

（不過是說我根本不知道這現象就是了。天曉得我連台語八調都還不大會發。-.-）
