上課的時候講到contradicory vs. contrary
contradictory= exclude any middle term. Something is either x or not-x.
contrary=terms are contaries if they can be simultaneously false but not simultaneously true. do not adhere to the Law of Excluded Middle.
老師舉例：
You can be happy or unhappy. You can also be neither happy nor unhappy. (Happy/unhappy=contraries)
You can only be dead or not dead.
I don't want to hear about vampires. No Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
