這學期修 Robin Lakoff 的 250 D-- Sociolinguistics: Discourse Analysis (還是Narratives啊？搞不清楚）

看到有一週的作業是： Watch TV!!!

然後那週的reading 有一篇今年四月24日 (我生日隔天耶，嘻嘻）NY Times上 Steven Johnson寫的：
"Watching TV Makes You Smarter"
翻了一下，
裡頭有稍稍提到的影集：24, Lost, The West Wing, Law and Order, ER, The Sopranos, etc.
還引用了一段ER的對白哩。
等會就來給她拜讀一下，喔呵呵。

喔對了，
還有兩週是設計給 Narratives in different professions-- specifically, narratives in law and narratives in psychotherapy,
老師說現在對narratives的定義也不同以往，
而在法庭裡 legal discourse其實也跟narrative有關-- One side trying to make the narrative coherent and sensible, while the other side trying to break the narrativity.
不知道她會不會講到 forensic linguistics 呢？真期待。
