自嗨之一

SARA: You just don't like sports.
GRISSOM: That's not true-- I've been a baseball fan my whole life.
SARA: Baseball. Well, that figures. All those stats.
GRISSOM: It's a beautiful game.
SARA: Since when are you interested in beauty?
GRISSOM: Since I met you.


GRISSOM: What is Victoria's Secret, I wonder?
SARA: Beauty, Grissom. Remember?

課剛開始時老師閒聊到運動賽事裡的narrative,
大家就開始聊各種運動，包括棒球。
然後我就想到這段經典shippy quote (From Primum Non Nocere), 自己心裡在自high.

自嗨之二
後來講到narrative truth vs. historical truth (material truth in Freud's terms)
老師不知怎的，突然拿補牙做比喻，說道：
You don't treat cavities with more teeth. It just doesn't work that way. You fill it up with substance. But it's not gonna be the tooth.
然後就很搞笑地說：Tooth. The whole tooth...
全班都笑翻了，
我笑得尤其厲害，因為想到PNN裡莎拉的那句：
120 minutes for a tooth ... the whole tooth ... and nothing but the tooth.

他們怎麼那麼喜歡拿那段Truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth來惡搞啊。Orz.


(是說一開始講到truth我也很惡搞想到The Truth Is Out There...)
